The two-stage sale of Pokemon cards on the Polygon (MATIC) blockchain ended successfully, with NFT enthusiasts buying 175 cards in a couple of seconds. In addition to the stablecoin USD Coin (USDC), the organizers accepted fiat money from credit cards.
According to analyst S4mmy.eth, those who participated in the token sale purchased so-called “Mystery Boxes,” each of which contained a unique physical Pokemon card.
